Remodel & extensions, Cobham
This comfortable family home, located in Surrey, has had a history of extensions and remodelling over the years.
While the accommodation provided is well proportioned, the layout and flow of the spaces feels awkward – a result of repeated alterations by previous owners.
Our client brief was broad, which allowed flexibility to explore a number of options to improve the existing spaces while also extending to create new family and utility areas.
The final design incorporates a new boundary wall and gates, 3 separate extensions to balance the front and rear elevations as well as a small loft conversion.
The end result will be large open family areas incorporating subtle visual separation so as not to feel overbearing. The entrance and utility areas have been separated from the family areas for increased security and a much more homely feel.
