Planning Submission.

Our latest project to be submitted to Elmbridge Borough Council is for the remodelling & extension of a large family home.

Daintree were initially appointed to explore design options for this detached property in Cobham, to help the owners decide whether they should move house or improve their current property to meet their needs.  The property had been extended a number of times over the years which had created some awkward spaces with little flow or function, furthermore, this had given the front and rear elevations had an unbalanced appearance.

After exploring a number of options and discussing these at length with the owners, the final design incorporates a new boundary wall and gates, three separate extensions to balance the front and rear elevations and to improve function, as well as a small loft conversion, offering improved accommodation.

The end result will provide large open family areas incorporation subtle visual separation so as not to feel overbearing.  The entrance and utility areas have been separated from the family areas for increased security and a much more homely feel.
