Barn Conversions

Steel portal frame shed - Approved for conversion

This project utilised the Class Q permitted development rights to create three new homes through the conversion of two redundant barn buildings.  The smaller of the two properties provides a comfortable one bedroom cottage, whilst the larger barn provides 2 two bedroom family homes.

The cottage retains its traditional cottage appearance with brick walls, clay tiled roof and timber framed windows.  The barn offers a more contemporary appearance with timber cladding and painted render to the walls, a grey zinc standing seam roof and matching grey aluminium windows.

Status: Due for construction summer 2018

We have worked with Daintree Design on a number of projects now. They have always listened intently to our instructions and brief, and then interpreted our plans accurately and beyond our satisfaction. They are always cost effective.
