Bungalow Conversion
We were approached by the homeowner to develop designs for the creation of first floor accommodation for their Bungalow.
After early discussions with the client we developed designs to convert the bungalow to a house by adding a complete first floor; allowing the footprint of the existing building to be replicated upstairs and thus maximising the space gained by carrying out the work.
This type of conversion offered a much more practical and appealing solution which the Planning Department approved first time, without any conditions.
Having seen so many other extension projects in the area look dreadful, I had a vision that adding an extra floor on my bungalow wouldn't look like it had just been added on, and would look like it had always been a two storey house. Stuart from Daintree immediately understood my vision and came back with a design that was more adventurous than I expected, but contained all the elements I had specified. I would happily ask him to do my next project.
